About PaJeS Wellbeing

Our Vision

For PaJeS to support and work with the leadership and staff of Jewish Schools, to build and implement a whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing.

PaJeS Wellbeing offers Jewish schools a whole school approach to positive mental health and wellbeing. The framework provides support and guidance for school leaders to embed a positive culture for staff and students, with opportunities for parents to be educated and engaged in wellbeing initiatives to further support their children.

A Whole School Approach to Mental Health & Wellbeing

To make a real and lasting, positive change to the mental health and wellbeing of young people in schools, there needs to be a whole school approach including a focus on the leadership, training and support for the staff, a curriculum and initiatives for students, and information and guidance for parents and carers.

The PaJeS Wellbeing award has been created to reach this positive approach.

This work has been informed by research, monitoring and evaluation by Middx and Bucks University, The Anna Freud Centre and Indigo Research.
