This CPD event will focus on the effective conduct of the GCSE Modern Hebrew Speaking examination.
We are pleased to welcome Chloe Burrows, Subject Support Manager: Languages at AQA, who will outline AQA’s expectations regarding the correct delivery of the speaking test. She will explain how the way the examination is conducted can directly influence the marking process and ensure that candidates are assessed fairly and consistently.
The session will also include a practical simulation led by experienced teachers, demonstrating best practice in managing the different components of the speaking examination, guiding candidates appropriately through each stage, and ensuring that recordings are carried out in line with requirements.
This event is particularly recommended for teachers preparing students for the GCSE Modern Hebrew speaking assessment, including those new to examining, teachers who will be responsible for conducting and recording the speaking tests, as well as experienced colleagues seeking further clarification and standardisation.
