Zoom

This webinar will explore why eating disorders and disordered eating can develop and what parents can do to help and support their children at the different stages.

Lubna Dar is a Consultant Counselling Psychologist and joint head of the Eating Disorders Programme at Noa Girls with over 25 years of experience specialising in the field of Eating Disorders. She continues to supervise and teach within NHS services and over the years has helped develop care pathways and treatment packages in accordance with NICE guidelines. Lubna has helped to set up the first Eating Disorders Service in London for the Jewish Community. She is passionate about educating and supporting families whilst they support their loved ones on their journey of recovery.

We aim that you will leave the session with a variety of tools to navigate this challenging journey.

Following this event, on December 11th, Lubna will be offering short 1:1 online support sessions. There is no charge for this service and registration will be available after the webinar.

This webinar is suitable for parents and carers of all children in Key stage 2 primary and all years of secondary school.
