Join Our Team at HJPS!
Are you passionate about education and ready to make a difference? At Hertsmere Jewish Primary School, we want our children to leave as well-rounded individuals who are ready to enter modern British society, proud of their Jewish heritage and their community.
About Us:
HJPS is a vibrant, welcoming school located in the heart of Hertfordshire. We’ve built a strong, caring community where high expectations for learning and progress empower every child to reach their full potential. We value parental involvement, whether through classroom support or adult education, and have created a nurturing environment where children feel safe, listened to, and supported. We inspire our pupils to believe in themselves, aspire to be their best, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of classroom teachers and the SENCO, providing essential support to pupils to help them access learning and reach their full potential. You will be assisting with both classroom management and individualised learning plans, including supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
Key responsibilities include:
You’ll be a role model for our pupils, promoting positive behaviour and inclusion. Experience working with children is desirable, but your enthusiasm, communication skills, and willingness to collaborate as part of a team are just as important. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about education and child development.
If you’re eager to contribute to a school that is committed to helping everyone achieve their full potential, we’d love to hear from you.
Interested?
We warmly invite you to visit our school and see what we’re all about. To arrange a visit, please contact us at admin@hjps.herts.sch.uk.
