Energetic and engaging educators needed, with lived experience of the Jewish religion, to lead hands-on action -packed assemblies and workshops in a wide range of non-Jewish school settings. 

Successful candidates need to be excellent communicators, be adaptable and friendly, with great classroom management skills and lots of energy. A genuine commitment to interfaith work as well as embedded knowledge of Judaism, Jewish festivals and life cycle events are essential.

Experience of working with primary-aged children is important; teachers, youth workers, teaching assistants or other relevant paid employment may make you suitable for the role.

Paid training will be given at a rate of £135 per day. Having attained  a sufficient standard of  confidence and knowledge , a day rate of £325 will be given.

Applicants need to be able to drive,  carry resources, be self-motivated, enthusiastic , and have a good sense of humour.

The role involves full days or half days of workshop delivery and would suit someone who likes flexible working hours. Generally , a working day runs from 7.40am-4.15 pm , exclusive of travel to schools.One or two days of sessions per week is the likely workload at first.

Parents who wish to work part-time, people with portfolio careers, or those wishing to work flexibly would find the hours appealing.
