About Us:

Sacks Morasha Jewish Primary School is an innovative modern-orthodox Jewish primary school serving the London Jewish community with outstanding teaching staff and a track record of academic excellence. We promote a commitment to orthodox Jewish practice, a love of and commitment to Israel and active involvement within the Jewish community, the British community and the wider world.

About the Role:

Sacks Morasha are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated, passionate and inspirational SEN Support to join our school and work as a 1:1. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a calm, happy, hard-working and cohesive environment, which welcomes like-minded professionals. We can offer a warm and welcoming community that highlights the importance of Jewish life and prioritises staff wellbeing.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the SENCO, providing essential support to pupils to help them access learning and reach their full potential. You will be assisting with both classroom management and individualised learning plans, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to supporting students with SEN needs and an EHCP
  • Possess an understanding of how to assist students with learning difficulties.
  • Supporting children’s personal needs and social development.
  • Helping to prepare classrooms for lessons and assisting with resource management.
  • Encouraging children’s interaction and independence in learning activities.
  • Show dedication to upholding the ethos of Sacks Morasha.
  • Exhibit a passion for fostering children’s learning and development.
  • Display flexibility in supporting staff and students as needed within the role.

You’ll be a role model for our pupils, promoting positive behaviour and inclusion. Experience working with children is desirable, but your enthusiasm, communication skills, and willingness to collaborate as part of a team are just as important. This is a rewarding role for someone passionate about education and child development.

If you’re eager to contribute to a school that is committed to helping everyone achieve their full potential, we’d love to hear from you.
