Yavneh Primary School is a modern orthodox Jewish, two form entry Free school in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The school is part of the Yavneh Academy Trust and is on the Yavneh College campus. Yavneh Primary opened its Reception classes in September 2016.
The school is committed to the practice of Orthodox Judaism. Pupils are proud of their Judaism, its traditions and religious practices and are involved in charity along with the wider school community. Our school motto is ‘Olam Chesed Yibaneh’ meaning ‘a world built on kindness’.
Learning should be a rewarding and enjoyable experience and at Yavneh Primary School we equip our pupils with the skills they need to thrive as independent lifelong learners. Children are given the knowledge and understanding necessary to be able to make informed choices about the important things in their lives. We believe that appropriate teaching and learning experiences throughout the school will help children to lead happy, successful and rewarding lives. We will ensure that every child reaches his/her full potential.
