Sacks Morasha Jewish Primary School is a vibrant voluntary-aided Jewish primary school based in Finchley, London. The school opened in 2008 and now has 175 pupils on its roll with a Reception intake of 30 children. Sacks Morasha aims to provide a modern Orthodox Jewish environment for children, which demonstrates a commitment to Torah values and the teaching of Ivrit as a living language, with a strong positive attitude towards Israel and Jewish life. Sacks Morasha conforms fully to the National Curriculum and encourages children to develop skills in both secular and Jewish studies. It aims to provide a rich and relevant Limmudei Kodesh programme, through which children will gain a commitment to Torah. The school works in partnership with families and the community to develop pupils to become responsible, committed members of the Jewish community and society at large. The teachers work closely with the governors to ensure that the curriculum is deeply integrated, enhancing the learning experience and making it more relevant for the child, and aims to nurture and encourage all of its pupils to achieve their full potential and become tolerant and respectful global citizens. Sacks Morasha actively encourages children to have links with pupils from other schools through visiting them, and children participate in trips to places of interest relevant to the curriculum.
