Mosaic Jewish Primary School is an outstanding cross communal, mixed free school, which opened in September, 2013 under the free school intiative. In 2015, Mosaic relocated to its permanent site, where it is continuing to grow to a two form entry school. Mosaic is the only Jewish school in South London and its ethos is based upon the Jewish hope of “May our children be our builders.” This is based on the following three aspirations: Inspiration – Mosaic inspires children to create their best possible journey in life, with confidence in their own cultures, heritage and beliefs. Respect – Mosaic develops self-respect and expands an understanding of respect within and across the Jewish and local communities, British society and the wider world. Excellence – Mosaic enables children to reach their full potential, emotionally, socially, academically and spiritually.
