Kerem School is an independent, non-selective, primary school based in Hampstead Garden Suburb, London. It opened in 1948 along with its nursery, Kerem EYU (Early Years Unit, formerly called Kerem House). The nursery originally opened in the shul hall but then moved to its own dedicated site nearby on Kingsley Way. The School is located within the premises of Hampstead Garden Suburb (Norrice Lea) Synagogue. It caters for c.200 boys and girls with an intake of 24 children at Nursery (pre-Reception) aged 3.
The Kerem School sites are small, friendly and situated in the heart of the community where families can get to know each other and where every child receives individual care and attention.

Taking the National Curriculum as its starting point, Kerem provides pupils with the opportunity to work over and above these levels and to thrive in a stimulating academic environment. The ideal Kerem pupil is self-confident, polished, polite and self-disciplined. Kerem also has specialist teachers in art, music, physical education and creative writing. Hot meals are provided at lunchtime at both locations.
Kerem is a Modern Orthodox, Zionist School with a modern outlook and is committed to traditional Torah-based Jewish values. It places a lot of emphasis on children learning practical Judaism, as well as developing a love for Israel. Hebrew as a living language, as well as a language of prayer, is emphasised throughout the school as part of the curriculum.
