The school aims to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum through an inclusive and creative approach that sets high expectations, challenges all students and enhances learning opportunities. Learning at Beit Shvidler is interactive, engaging, accessible to all learners and stimulating as a result of our teachers’ hard work, commitment and knowledge of the curriculum.
Children are taught to be proud and thankful to be able to benefit from the British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and respect for people of different faiths and beliefs. Beit Shvidler explains that it is incumbent upon us to learn, develop and demonstrate skills and attitudes that enable us to contribute positively to life in modern Britain, but also that this outlook is clearly mandated in the Torah.
The PTA successfully contributes to developing the school through a wide range of activities that engage the local community. The school offers a variety of before-school, lunchtime and after-school clubs and children benefit from out of school visits which have recently included London Zoo, the Victoria & Albert Museum and Legoland, as well as residential trips and a Shabbaton for the older children.
