Blog: Building Partnerships in Jewish Education: A Call for Collaboration

03/12/2024

One of the greatest privileges of my role at PaJeS is meeting so many inspirational leaders. Our schools thrive under the guidance of incredibly talented and experienced educators who have shaped Jewish education across the UK.

At PaJeS, partnership isn’t just in our name – it’s the foundation of everything we do. As someone who has been a school leader, I know how challenging it can be to navigate the complexities of leadership – whether it’s managing staff and governors, supporting parents, or responding to unexpected challenges.

That experience motivated my move to PaJeS. I wanted to create something that would make a tangible difference – a supportive, collaborative network where school leaders could share ideas, find solutions, and grow together.

I’m proud of how much PaJeS has grown, thank G-d, but I believe we’re still just scratching the surface of what we can achieve. Our community is made up of extraordinary educators and lay leaders, each bringing their own unique perspectives, all united by a shared passion for Jewish education.

The expertise within our network is immense – spanning leadership, wellbeing, mental health, Jewish learning, and even government relations. But I believe we can do even more to tap into this collective wisdom and use it to benefit our schools and our children.

That’s why I’m so excited to launch this blog. This space is for you – a platform to share your ideas, challenge current thinking, and spark meaningful conversations about Jewish education. It’s an open space for all topics that deepen our understanding of Jewish schools and the wider educational landscape.

I’d love for you to join us in making this blog a vibrant, inspiring hub for thought leadership in our community. Your voice matters and together, we can shape the future of Jewish education.
