This is what schools say about us
“Maccabi GB coaches provide our schools’ PE teaching from years 1 to 6. Having specialist trained PE staff impacts greatly on both pupils and staff as the quality of the teaching is higher than most non specialist teachers could achieve. Both teachers and TA’s are able to learn from the Maccabi GB coach whilst watching the lessons. The Maccabi GB coaches follow the National Curriculum with a flexibility allowing them to bring out the best in our pupils teaching gymnastics, dance, games and track and field.
The coaches assist in choosing teams for competitions run by Maccabi GB and our local authority. Our school attained the award of best improvement in PE this year from the Jewish Chronicle of which we are justly proud and this was certainly aided by all Maccabi GB’s support and encouragement.
I would highly recommend Jewish Day Schools to use Maccabi GB as their PE provider and also help support this wonderful charity connecting Jewish sportsmen and women to both Sport and the wider Jewish community.” Lady Deborah Kestenbaum, PE coordinator and Assistant Head Independent Jewish Day School
“Beit Shvidler Primary School are regular participants in Maccabi GB Football and Maccabi GB Netball Tournaments. Over the years that we have been attending, I have seen an increase in the number of schools and number of children that take part, which creates an increasingly competitive and fun atmosphere. The atmosphere is great; all the children are excited to participate and it is nice to see children talk to others from other schools. As well as the organisation on the day itself, Maccabi GB are now also creating opportunities for the girls to receive extra football training. I have heard from girls from our school how much they are enjoying this and this feeds directly into the football they are playing in school.” Mr E Segal, Sports Leader, Beit Shvidler Primary School
