We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher of Jewish Studies, who would like to work with, and contribute to, the development of highly motivated students in KS3, KS4 and KS5.
The Kodesh provision was recently inspected and judged to be outstanding in all areas, we place particular focus on training and development programmes for staff which are exceptional and highly regarded, with 8 teachers achieving QTS/QTLS in the past 5 years. All new teachers are provided with a mentor within the Kodesh department.
Our Kodesh provision delivers lessons on Chumash, Nach, Halacha, Tefilla, Biblical Hebrew, Sedra and Religious Studies. Each subject area has a developed scheme of work and prepared resources to support new teachers.
There are also many opportunities to be involved in the Jewish Life of the school such as leading davening, assemblies, lunch and learn, Shabbatons, the Poland trip and informal HIPE events.
