Are you someone who believes the right adult can change a child’s day?

Do you thrive in a busy environment where relationships matter, behaviour support is done with care and staff are genuinely invested?

Do you want to work in a school that values adults as much as children?

Sinai Jewish Primary School is rated Outstanding in all areas (OFSTED November 2024).  We are looking for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our growing team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience working in schools and supporting children with behaviour or additional needs.

Why join Sinai?

At Sinai, we are proud to be a school of opportunity, not just for our pupils but for our staff too. We invest in people, nurture talent and support career progression. Many of our team have grown into specialist, leadership or teacher-training pathways. We actively encourage ambition.

You will be joining a warm, supportive and value-led community where teamwork, respect and high expectations go hand in hand.

What we offer:

  • A nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is known, supported and championed
  • The chance to work closely with skilled and passionate teachers
  • Strong support for those considering a future in teaching
  • Ongoing professional development and clear opportunities for career progression
  • Excellent facilities and high-quality resources
  • A vibrant Jewish school community rooted in respect, kindness and learning
  • Inner London weighting

We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children
  • Communicates clearly and works well as part of a collaborative team
  • Is committed to supporting both the academic and personal development of pupils
  • Has experience working in a school setting, ideally supporting children with behavioural needs
  • Approaches behaviour with consistency, patience and care

You will be a trusted adult, a calm presence, a motivator and a key part of children’s success.

The work is rewarding, sometimes challenging but never boring. Most importantly, you’ll never do it alone.

Join us to be part of something genuinely special.

Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date and we reserve the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants of all faiths and genders.

Sinai School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all who work here to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure and other relevant checks.
