This session will focus on how primary language teachers can effectively prepare their students for the expectations of secondary school, particularly in terms of curriculum content, language proficiency standards, learning skills and examinations which will determine the group level Year 7 students are placed in.
To support this discussion, we will host two secondary school language teachers and two primary school Ivrit teachers to be as part of the ‘panel’.
Those teachers will share their perspectives on expectations, challenges and curriculum used, followed by an open Q&A session where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Our primarily goal is to strengthen collaboration between primary and secondary educators in order to ensure a smoother, more coherent learning journey for our students.
The meeting will be held mainly in Ivrit and is free to PaJeS subscribed schools
