In response to feedback from schools, PaJeS are offering 12 participants, a ‘Team Teach Level 1 Behaviour Support Training.’ The training includes person-centred de-escalation and behaviour support strategies. Their core modules include Values; The Legal Framework; Functions of Behaviour; Conflict Spiral and Cycle of Influence; Behaviours of Communication; Stages of Distress & how to support each stage; Verbal & non-verbal communication; Reporting & Recording; Restorative Practice.
This Level 1, non-restrictive training includes personal safety and disengagement techniques (including fight separations); single person prompts, guiding and escorting; body language and personal space.
You will also receive 1 year complementary access to Team Teach Connect – Ongoing Support & CPD for all certified staff. Their knowledge Hub provides over 100 hours of Award-winning CPD content, including, downloadable resources, podcasts, articles and videos on behaviour support and de-escalation. In addition, their Support service provides a place where you can ask, in confidence, about anything behaviour related.
