Kisharon Noé School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant with strong experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs to join our friendly and inspirational team.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Support and lead learning for individuals, small groups, and occasionally the whole class.

  • Use specialist SEN knowledge to adapt activities, support communication, and promote positive behaviour.

  • Contribute to planning, assessment and preparation of resources.

  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, using warmth, consistency and empathy.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other professionals.

  • Essential experience working with children with SEN and/or SEMH needs.

  • Confidence leading learning and supporting behaviour positively.

  • Strong understanding of child development and personalised strategies.

  • A calm, proactive and resilient approach.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Interview Activity

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to plan and deliver a short activity with a small group of pupils. This is a chance to show your creativity, enthusiasm and ability to engage learners in a meaningful, accessible way.
