Your Opportunity…

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, proactive and cheerful Finance Administrator to work at Clore Shalom School as part of our busy and engaging office team.  The role is term time plus 1 week (39 weeks per year), 20 hours per week.

The successful candidate will work alongside two Office Administrators reporting into the School Business Manager and provide financial support to a small one-form entry school (210 children) where they will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of school financial management.  The team is fully committed to supporting an excellent educational provision through strong administrative support and professional service for the school and its community.

We are looking for someone who…

  • Has GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above)
  • Has business based financial experience
  • Has experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Has good communication and organisations skills demonstrating the ability to multi-task ensuring deadlines are adhered to
  • Is computer literate and can operate or is willing to learn financial packages
  • Can adapt and respond positively to the challenges of day-to-day school life, working proactively and sometimes think outside of the box
  • Uses their initiative and takes pride in their work and surroundings
  • Can work both independently and as part of the team
  • Has good IT skills
