Wolfson Hillel Primary School is a thriving two form entry school in Southgate, London who are part of The Jewish Community Academy Trust. We were judged outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in March 2017. The Governors and staff wish to appoint a teacher to start February 2025. If you want to join a vibrant forward thinking staff we are the school for you!
We have a very low staff turnover and believe this is because we are committed to the health and well-being of our staff. We strive for ways to promote work-life balance and teachers have a significantly higher ratio of non-contact time across the week, to enable staff teams to work collaboratively. We operate a ‘three teacher model’ across a two form entry year group, meaning groups are smaller and teachers have the opportunity to team teach and share best practice. A school laptop is provided for each teacher, which connects remotely to the system allowing increased flexibility and there is on-site childcare provision with a discount for staff.
At Wolfson Hillel, we believe in nurturing all our children to develop to the best of their abilities. We are proud to be part of each child’s journey, assisting them to become knowledgeable, skilled, confident and responsible members of our local and wider community. We believe that all Hillel graduates should understand their obligation to make positive contributions to their families, friends and communities as well to general society as British citizens.
You will be a teacher who is passionate about equity for all children and is able to inspire and motivate learners. You will have a strong commitment to promoting the school’s ethos and be able to work closely with parents and families and your colleagues. We would welcome applications from ECTs as well as more experienced teachers.
